Lavender Bloom Festival
The inaugural Lavender Bloom Festival, held on Saturday, June 22nd, was a resounding success, attracting over 800 people. Organized by Tullamore Lavender Co. and MKT MKT Events, this unforgettable event kicked off the lavender season in style with shopping, entertainment, and culinary delights.
Attendees enjoyed:
🛍️ 50 Vendors: Unique treasures from local artisans and makers at our curated vendor market. 🎶 Workshops & Live Music: Creativity and entertainment throughout the day. 📍 Farm Tours: Behind-the-scenes look at lavender fields and small-scale production. 🥂 Drinks & Snacks: Refreshing lavender-infused beverages and delicious snacks.
Highlights included: 🌱 Strolling through the lavender fields 🛍️ Shopping from local makers 🍋 Sipping on lavender lemonade 📸 Capturing beautiful lavender photos
Ticket prices were $12 in advance and $15 at the door, with options for picnic boxes and yoga classes. Children under 12 entered free, enjoying access to blooming fields, the vendor market, live music, workshops, and farm tours.
The event had limited parking, was held rain or shine, and included precautions for those allergic to bees. Onsite food vendors provided delicious options for visitors.
